Nathan D. "Buddy" Brewer

BREWER-Nathan D. "Buddy", age 15, Bellevue, NE. May 23, 1993 to January 11, 2009. Survived by mother and step-father Mitzi and Steve Douthit, Bellevue; father Josh Brewer and family of Iowa; sisters Amber Douthit, Bentonville, AR, Zoe Douthit, Bellevue; grandmother and grandfather Hildur and Earl Tarumoto; grandfather and his wife Nathan and Josi Brewer; grandmother and her husband Arlene and Randy Wing; uncles, aunts, cousins and many, many friends.

Nathan was a devoted son, brother, and friend who embraced life to the fullest and was a fighter till the end. Avid movie goer, World of Warcraft player, strived to go to school as much as possible in order to become an architect and if a goal was set Nathan would achieve it or try his hardest. He was a protector of his sisters, family and friends and was an inspiration to all who knew him or of him. Nathan believed in living life to the fullest and inspired others to do so as well. "If there is one thing I would change in my life … it would be NOTHING!" – Nathan Brewer.

A celebration of Nathan's life will be held at Thanksgiving Lutheran Church, Bellevue, Saturday, January 17th at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Nathan's family at 109 Westridge Ave, Bellevue, NE 68005.
